Prattville Chamber and ACTC to Host Career Day, Community Open House Tomorrow

PRATTVILLE, Ala. – The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce and Autauga County Technology Center will host Career Day for students tomorrow, March 3, from 8:00-3:00 P.M., followed by a community open house from 4:30-6:30 P.M. at 1301 Upper Kingston Road, Prattville, AL 36067.

Career Day will feature a variety of exhibitors, made up of local industries and businesses. These organizations will highlight company information and share relevant skill sets for their career paths to student.

Parents, students and community individuals are encouraged to attend the open house portion of the event to learn more about ACTC programs and how they connect to today’s workforce.

ACTC provides a diverse curriculum designed to prepare students for entry into the workforce or for further study in the postsecondary setting. This institution offers courses that link school-based learning with career-related experiences.

Currently, 13 Career Tech Programs are offered including AgriConstruction, Automotive, Business Management, Cosmetology, Education and Training, Electrical, Engineering, Family and Consumer Sciences, Finance, Fire Science, Health Science, Information Technology, and Welding.
