In partnership with Troy Continuing Education and Outreach, we are bringing a Mid-Morning Virtual Training Series to our members to help them to empower their employees while building a thriving workplace. Whether you are a supervisor, a business owner, or an employee, everyone needs to develop the appropriate skills to create a winning team where employees and business thrive and grow!
During this second part of the series, we will learn how to identify and implement the four elements of the F.A.I.R. approach which will help you in creating a winning team! Friday, May 14 – 9-10am: Diversity Summary: When dealing with people, awareness of difference can be a benefit, or we can make it a problem. In this course, the content will cover the recognition that “diversity” includes, but is may be different from, the legal aspects of Title Seven, EEO and Affirmative Action issues. The course will describe the importance and impact that “diversity” has on any environment or organization and on individual performance and productivity, what it means to be culturally competent. Most of the course will be examine ways we can work with others by examining our prejudices, difference and similarities.
Participants will learn how to identify and implement the four elements of the F.A.I.R. approach. This course offers an opportunity to be better at the art of working with people and helps in creating a winning team where employees and business thrives!
